Cabin 8134 is an Ocean View Balcony on Harmony of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 8134 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 8 of Harmony of the Seas, and it sits far forward. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 19 cabins to the forward lift bank, port, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. Harmony of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, forward and aft, port and starboard. Each is a glass fronted lobby with call buttons, deck buttons and a landing that doubles as a meeting point. The forward banks serve the theatre and the suite decks, the aft banks serve the dining rooms and the Boardwalk. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 8 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 22nd cabin position of 168 along Deck 8. Deck 8 also has Giovanni's Italian Kitchen, Giovanni's Wine Bar, Rising Tide Bar and Trellis Bar on it. There are 325 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers and families running back to the cabin several times a day.
