Cabin 8429 · Carnival Dream

Cabin 8429 is an Interior (category 4G1) on Carnival Dream, 149 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 8429 is an Interior on Deck 8, the Verandah deck, of Carnival Dream, and it sits aft of midship. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 148th cabin position of 184 along Deck 8.

An Interior gives you 149-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 79 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
