Cabin 8723 · Legend of the Seas

Cabin 8723 is a Surfside Family View Interior on Legend of the Seas.

Cabin 8723 is a Surfside Family View Interior on Deck 8 of Legend of the Seas, and it sits well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Carousel is on the deck below, about 1 cabin along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 246th cabin position of 290 along Deck 8. Deck 8 also has Izumi in the Park, Central Park, Hollywood Land Supper Club and Chops Grille on it. There are 315 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Surfside Family View Interior. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
