Cabin R69 · Carnival Paradise

Cabin R69 is an Ocean View (category 6B) on Carnival Paradise.

Cabin R69 is an Ocean View on Deck 4, the Riviera deck, of Carnival Paradise, forward of midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 36th cabin position of 99 along Deck 4.

An Ocean View gives you 158-243 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
