Isabela Island

Isabela is the largest Galapagos island, formed by six shield volcanoes including Sierra Negra, whose caldera is among the world's largest. Ships anchor off Puerto Villamil for wet beach landings, with visits to the town's giant tortoise breeding center and flamingo lagoons.
