Cabin 11010 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 11010 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior (category 4S1) on Carnival Sunshine, 158 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 11010 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior on Deck 11, the Serenity & SportSquare deck, of Carnival Sunshine, and it sits far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 7th cabin position of 17 along Deck 11. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

A Cloud 9 Spa Interior gives you 158-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
