Cabin 11690 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 11 of Allure of the Seas, aft of midship. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

The nearest is the aft lift bank, and that is 14 cabins away down the corridor. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. The aft lift bank on deck 11. Worth knowing: aft on deck 11 puts you above the AquaTheater bowl. The lifts are quiet, the balcony is not. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 8 out of 10.

Of the 195 cabin positions on Deck 11, this is the 142nd from forward.

The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 88 per cent of them. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
