Cabin 12249 is a Central Park View Balcony on Allure of the Seas, 182 to 193 square feet plus a private balcony of 50 to 52 square feet.

Cabin 12249 is a Central Park View Balcony on Deck 12 of Allure of the Seas, midship. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 8 cabins from the aft lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The aft lift bank on deck 12. Worth knowing: the highest of the aft cabin lobbies, with the AquaTheater below and the Windjammer above. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Of the 181 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 87th from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

The Central Park View Balcony grade runs 182-193 square feet. The balcony adds another 50-52 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 87 per cent of them and further from the action than most. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
