Cabin 12586 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Allure of the Seas, and it sits far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Royal Babies and Royal Tots Nursery is two decks up, about 3 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 8 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 37th cabin position of 181 along Deck 12.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 86 per cent of the 2,887 cabins on board and better placed for getting around than 88 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and families running back to the cabin several times a day.
