Cabin 12629 · Star of the Seas

Cabin 12629 is a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony on Star of the Seas.

Cabin 12629 is a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony on Deck 12 of Star of the Seas, and it sits midship. This is the steady part of the ship. When it gets lumpy, midship is where you want to be. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 121st cabin position of 311 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Vitality Spa on it. There are 349 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,813 cabins on board and as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
