Cabin 12641 · Star of the Seas

Cabin 12641 is a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony on Star of the Seas.

Cabin 12641 is a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony on Deck 12 of Star of the Seas, midship. This is the steady part of the ship. When it gets lumpy, midship is where you want to be. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 141st cabin position of 311 along Deck 12. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. Deck 12 also has Vitality Spa on it. There are 349 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Spacious Infinite Central Park View Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship and further from the action than most. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
