Cabin 2325 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 2325 is an Interior (category 4B1) on Carnival Sunshine, 149 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 2325 is an Interior on Deck 2, the Main deck, of Carnival Sunshine, and it sits well aft. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Piano Bar is two decks up, about 3 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 76th cabin position of 89 along Deck 2.

An Interior gives you 149-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,507 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 87 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
