Cabin 2332 · Carnival Splendor

Cabin 2332 is an Ocean View (category 6C1) on Carnival Splendor, 158 to 243 square feet.

Cabin 2332 is an Ocean View on Deck 2, the Main deck, of Carnival Splendor. You are midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. That is about as close to the ship's pivot point as you can get, and in a swell you will feel it less here than anywhere else on board. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

On the ship's plan Spectacular Spectacular is on the deck above, about 6 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 61st cabin position of 152 along Deck 2. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

An Ocean View gives you 158-243 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
