Cabin 6548 · Allure of the Seas

Cabin 6548 is an Ocean View Balcony on Allure of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 6548 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 6 of Allure of the Seas, forward of midship. There is some movement here, more than midship and a good deal less than the ends. Most people never think about it. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

The nearest is the forward lift bank, and that is 10 cabins away down the corridor. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. The forward lift bank on deck 6, at the top of the forward stairwell. Worth knowing: the quietest of deck 6's two lobbies, because the whole aft half of this deck is the Boardwalk. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 214 cabin positions on Deck 6, this is the 23rd from forward. You share Deck 6 with Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Schooner Bar, Boardwalk Donuts and Boardwalk Dog House. There are 237 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
