Cabin 7111 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 7111 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Sunshine.

Cabin 7111 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Sunshine, far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 1 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 107 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 4th from forward.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
