Cabin 7249 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 7249 is a Balcony (category 8C1) on Carnival Sunshine, 168 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 35 to 46 square feet.

Cabin 7249 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Sunshine. You are aft of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 107 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 74th from forward.

The Balcony grade runs 168-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 35-46 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, steadier in a swell than 83 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 87 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
