Cabin 7288 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 7288 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Sunshine.

Cabin 7288 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Sunshine, and it sits well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 87th cabin position of 107 along Deck 7.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and better placed for getting around than 87 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
