Cabin 7328 · Carnival Sunshine

Cabin 7328 is an Aft-View Extended Balcony (category 8M1) on Carnival Sunshine, 185 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 60 to 100 square feet.

Cabin 7328 is an Aft-View Extended Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Sunshine, well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 107th cabin position of 107 along Deck 7. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

An Aft-View Extended Balcony gives you 185-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 60-100 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,507 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 87 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
