Cabin 7402 · Carnival Venezia

Cabin 7402 is a Balcony (category 8C1) on Carnival Venezia, 168 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 35 to 46 square feet.

Cabin 7402 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Venezia, aft of midship. There is some movement here, more than midship and a good deal less than the ends. Most people never think about it. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Of the 257 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 168th from forward.

The Balcony grade runs 168-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 35-46 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, steadier in a swell than 84 per cent of them and as well placed for getting around as any cabin aboard. It suits light sleepers, travellers prone to seasickness and families running back to the cabin several times a day.
