Cabin 8242Z · Scarlet Lady

Cabin 8242Z is a Ltd View Sea Terrace on Deck 8 of Scarlet Lady. You are forward of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

Voyage Vinyl sits on the deck below, roughly 1 cabin along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 128 cabin positions on Deck 8, this is the 48th from forward.

The Ltd View Sea Terrace grade runs 225.3 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 87 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
