Cabin 8412 · Allure of the Seas

Cabin 8412 is an Interior on Allure of the Seas, 150 to 172 square feet.

Cabin 8412 is an Interior on Deck 8 of Allure of the Seas, and it sits far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

The nearest is the forward lift bank, and that is 24 cabins away down the corridor. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. The forward lift bank on deck 8, at the forward end of Central Park. Worth knowing: the shortest walk from a cabin to Central Park on this deck, and the lobby the speciality restaurants fill from. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 171 cabin positions on Deck 8, this is the 8th from forward. You share Deck 8 with Vintages, Coach and the Art Gallery, Bar and Park Cafe. There are 329 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Interior grade runs 150-172 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 86 per cent of the 2,887 cabins on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers.
