The Connecting Interior grade runs 150-172 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Against the rest of the ship it is as well placed for getting around as any cabin aboard. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
