Cabin 9148 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 9 of Allure of the Seas. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 11 cabins to the forward lift bank, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. The forward lift bank on deck 9. Worth knowing: deck 9 forward is entirely cabins, which makes this one of the calmest lobbies on the ship. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 38th cabin position of 226 along Deck 9. Deck 9 also has Dazzles on it. There are 393 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers.
