Cabin 9477 · Carnival Breeze

Cabin 9477 is an Aft-View Extended Balcony (category 8N1) on Carnival Breeze, 185 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 60 to 100 square feet.

Cabin 9477 is an Aft-View Extended Balcony on Deck 9 of Carnival Breeze, well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 8 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 186th cabin position of 186 along Deck 9. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

An Aft-View Extended Balcony gives you 185-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 60-100 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and as well placed for getting around as any cabin aboard. It suits light sleepers and families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
